The Omak Pack
Through northern winds and mountain air,
A noble pack found shelter there.
With paws that danced and hearts so free,
They roamed in love and loyalty.
Murph, the Malamute so grand,
With Rochelle always close at hand.
Through daily jogs, his strength untamed,
Yet socks once lost were later claimed!
Now past the veil where legends go,
His spirit lingers in the snow.
Arrow, steadfast, bold, and true,
A shepherd’s heart in golden hue.
A playmate fierce, yet kind in soul,
Who stood his ground and made them whole.
Now in the stars, he runs at night,
A shadow cast in silver light.
Max, the voice, so proud, so loud,
Craig’s great joy—he barked unbowed.
A sentinel both strong and wise,
A thunderous song beneath the skies.
Gunner, swift, of Malinois breed,
A guardian forged in fire and speed.
Through earth he carves, through soil he sows,
A restless force where wild winds blow.
And Odin, still a pup so bright,
With curious steps and boundless might.
A name of gods, a soul so keen,
His future vast, his path unseen.
They dig, they run, they guard, they play,
A regal pack in grand array.
Though some have left, their echoes stay,
In whispered winds and earth’s embrace,
Forever part of time and space.
