Before the Beyond

So what of life among the stars

What about us, what about ours?

Eight billion souls across our isle

Aren't they enough for you to smile?

Are there not abundant gifts

and spirits we can all uplift

rich in culture and traditions

bound by love, not divisions

children growing everyday

begging wisdom show the way

Opportunity at our door

So much need and so much more

In distant light years mystery flies

But Earth's enough, why chase the skies?


Just scratching where it itches!
